We are delighted to announce that by popular demand, Portsmouth DSA will once again be holding our annual Black-Tie Gala on board the historic HMS Warrior 1860 on Friday 28th November 2025.
Our historic venue
Now berthed in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, the mighty HMS Warrior 1860 was Britain’s first iron-hulled, 40-gun, armoured warship, and was the pride of Queen Victoria’s fleet. Powered by steam and sail, she was the largest, fastest and most powerful ship of her day and had a profound influence on naval architecture. Warrior was the ultimate deterrent, and despite active service all over the world, never had to fire her guns in anger. This spectacular warship now provides a memorable venue for our celebrations.
What to expect
Guests will be welcomed aboard and invited to dine between the cannon on the atmospheric gun deck. The evening’s celebrations will include welcome drinks, ship tours, a three-course meal with wine, entertainment and sea shanties, bar, as well as the all-important auction and prize draw. It promises to be a fantastic evening.
A very special fundraiser
All funds raised will go directly to Portsmouth DSA and will be used to provide social opportunities and specialist educational services for our young people which they wouldn’t otherwise receive. As a self-funding-charity we are incredibly grateful for your support.
Sponsorship and donations
We are welcoming event sponsorship and donations for our event, our auction, or our prize draw. If you can help, please contact us to discuss further, and all donors will receive a special mention in the evening’s brochure.
Ticket Types
We are able to offer corporate and group bookings for tables of up to 10 guests. Individual tickets are also available.
To purchase tickets, please complete the form linked here and a member of the team will be in touch.
